After our week on the North Island of New Zealand, we flew into Queenstown to begin our road trip around the South Island. As we were leaving the airport, we had to make a quick stop for this view! We were anxious to see how different the South Island was from the North and seeing this view from the city highway got us all very excited!
We then decided to do another Skyline Gondola, which has a luge option similar to when we were in Rotorua! We passed on the luge and went up the gondola to enjoy some beautiful views of Queenstown and its surroundings!
The main building at the top had really cool pictures made of jelly beans!
After our afternoon in Queenstown, we drove to Te Anau for the night. The drive rewarded us with beautiful views around every bend!
The next day, we headed to the serene Milford Sound and enjoyed some time in a winter wonderland!
