Prague – Christmas Market & Lunch

The same ice storm that ruined our Kutna Hora plans for the previous day also ruined our Terezin Concentration Camp plans for our third day in Prague. We had booked the Terezin Concentration Camp tour through Sandeman’s. Even though we didn’t go on the tour, I’d recommend at least checking out their website and consider going!

Since our tour was cancelled, we decided to walk around the Christmas Market in the Old Town Square. We tried some hot wine and did some souvenir shopping. I learned I’m not much of a hot wine kind of person, but it was worth the experience!

We decided to have an authentic Czech meal in a local restaurant. The weird looking item is a pork knee that Ariel wanted to try. The food was really delicious and I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

Have you ever eaten in Prague? If so, what was your favorite meal you had?

We pretty much just wandered around and enjoyed a relaxing day for the rest of the day. The next day we were able to rebook our Kutna Hora tour and visit the Bone Chapel. You can read about that in my next post!
